Government aforementioned including rcommendations to the Council concerning
mechanisms, processes and procedures for Community participation that
includes:

submitted by the Community. (Within four (4) weeks after acknowledgement of
receipt).
(b) Publication and public comment procedures.
(c) Public meetings of the Council.
(d) Consultative sessions with locally recongnised Community Organisations and other interest
groups.
(e) Ensure that the to be instituted mechanisms, processes and procedures
take account of the special needs of:
(1) People who cannot read or write.
(2) People with handicaps.
(3) Women.
(4) Other disadvantaged groups. |
